Coca-Cola Amatil (CCA) is a major public company listed in the top 100 companies on the Australian Stock (ASX100).
Australia’s largest premium branded beverage and food company and one of the top five Coca-Cola bottlers in the world, CCA manufactures and distributes non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages and food products all over Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Fiji, and Papua New Guinea.
CCA operates its non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverage business in Australia and New Zealand and non-alcoholic beverage business in Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and Fiji. Following the acquisition of SPC Ardmona in Australia, CCA also distributes food products around the world including the UK, USA, Canada, Japan, New Zealand and Germany.
In addition to its own portfolio of beverage and food brands, CCA purchases concentrate and beverage bases from The Coca-Cola Company (who are a 30% shareholder in CCA) to manufacture and distribute its trademarked products, and through Pacific Beverages, our joint venture with global brewer SABMiller, we distribute a range of premium imported and local beers.
CCA employs over 16,000 people across 32 alcoholic, non-alcoholic and food operations in five countries.
In 2008 earnings before interest and tax were $713.8 million, an increase of 10.1% and our net profit was $404.3 million, an increase of 10.4%.
